Dr. Kate Silverthorne grew up in Madison, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad, earning a degree in Zoology and Environmental Science in 2019. She participated in an internship at the Dane County Humane Society’s Wildlife Center the summer after graduation and fell in love with veterinary medicine.
After taking a couple years to gain experience in the veterinary field, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2025.
Dr. Kate’s professional interests include internal medicine and preventive care.
Dr. Kate lives with her partner Isaia and their cat, Bella. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and going on walks.
